What to expect at Yoga with Lindi
In my yoga classes you will stretch and strengthen your body and relax your mind.
Every week I work on a different aspect of yoga, so no two weeks are alike – the focus can be on shoulder releasing, core work, hip opening, balancing, arm strengthening or relaxing twists while, of course, stretching and strengthening the whole body.
If you have never done yoga before or even if you are experienced, I check you are in the correct alignment for a safe and more beneficial practice and I encourage you to go to your own ability and flexibility.
My ethos is to establish a safe and enjoyable practice, so that you leave feeling toned in your body and calmer in your mind
Of course, not everyone wants or is able to go to a class situation, so I offer one-to-one classes, where I plan the session around your particular needs.
Chair-based yoga and very gentle yoga
For those who are less mobile, I teach chair-based yoga and very gentle yoga either in a group or privately. Chair-based yoga is perfect for the elderly or for those who find standing and moving a challenge. The only difference to the regular class is the postures are done sitting on and holding onto a chair.
Yoga in the workplace
For the hard-pressed and time-poor employee or employer, I give yoga sessions in the work place of corporate companies in the South Bucks and Berks areas so that you can plan a yoga class for you and your colleagues either before you get to your desk in the morning, at lunchtime or at the end of the day.
